MEET FRAZIER
Frazier O'Leary
Ward 4 State Board of Education Representative
I'm running for Re-Election to the DC State Board of Education to make sure our Ward has a strong voice on education. When I walk in a room with the leaders of the education system, the first thing they know is I'm prepared and energized to make sure our schools are truly represented, and our needs are heard for and fought for completely.
I served as an English teacher in DCPS at Cardozo SHS and Garnet-Patterson JHS for a total of 47 years and, in that time, I always worked to do what was best for my students. I've lived in DC for over 50 years, and I want our city to be an education leader in our nation. As a parent of five, I've had teachers advocate for me. As a teacher, I've advocated for parents. As a member of the SBOE, I have and will continue to advocate for them all.
I want the constituents of Ward 4 to know that through me they will always have someone who is not only accessible but also ensures that their voice is heard. I give my number and email out to anyone who needs assistance, because we do this work together and the work continues.
